Agaves in the Stanford Cactus Garden!

I went to the Arizona Garden at Stanford yesterday to do some reading, and it was absolutely gorgeous! I thought I'd share some of my favorites.

And this is why we love agaves: their breathtaking symmetry.

You know, your photos are so good, you really should watermark them. It's not that people who share them on, say Facebook or Pinterest intentionally rip you off, it's that links can get lost. I suggest www.gardeningsuccs.com. (No copyright, because then people think you'll mind if they share the photos.)

So what have I been up to? Shooting aloes in bloom, because now's the time (and that is why we love aloes: their flowers).

These are beautiful! Agaves are not something I've had in my collection but now I'm thinking I need some :)
