Here's a picture of a project I made over a five-month period, using small succulents and an old letterpress box! I love how it turned out, and it was a lot of fun to make. I drilled holes in the back of the box to allow drainage, and everything is thriving! Yay! It was, however, outside during the recent rains, so I'm really hoping that it isn't going to be too waterlogged. Debra Lee Baldwin is giving away copies of her soon-to-be-released third book for people who make projects she likes. Think this one could be a contender?

I love this! It certainly is a contender. What a cheerful collection. How and where do you display it? Is it heavy? And where did you find the letterpress box? Do tell! 10/14/2012 05:38:19 am
Thank you! (A comment from DLB is basically the succulent gardening equivalent of a comment from a rock star, so *thank you* for making my day!) 10/12/2012 06:24:11 pm
That is so pretty! I have an old letterbox that used to belong to my Mother in law. But I think it will get ruined with all the water. Did you treat yours? And I certainly think it is a contender! Comments are closed.
