Thank you, Candy! Much appreciated. Yes, I was inspired stylistically by some of Debra Baldwin's stuff, but I think I got a little overambitious about what the poor plant could handle. It was happy for three months before it started to look desiccated! I just pulled it out and repotted it. I think it was way too dry. I had thought maybe it was too wet because of the lack of drainage, but nope--it was the opposite. So I have now repotted it and planted it in a container about 4x the size, with new soil and plenty of drainage. I hope I can resuscitate it--I'll keep you posted, and thank you again! 10/8/2012 08:20:12 am
Good job honey! Now just give it one good drink that all and wait for it to puff up. Let the soil dry and when ready water again. What happens sometimes is the soil gets too dry and when you water it the water does not really sink all way in the soil it just goes around and goes down the hole. You think it is being watered and really isn't. Sometimes the dirt needs to be roughed up and water and watch. It will do just fine. 7/14/2013 09:01:55 pm
